Q--
just wondering are everbearing and day-neutrals are treated the same and how close can I grow then when in pots?

right now i have 26 plants per 48 sq ft - with a 2ft walk space. I have june, day-neutrals and ever-bearing all in this configuration. I have room to keep 1-5 runners per plant with 4 inch spacing per runners and 11 inches between each plant. is this to little or to much?

I'm using a 5-20-20 berry nutrients. is this ok?

ive been to hundreds of sites related to strawberries and this one seems to be the most understanding and well layed out. I live in vancouver canada. If anyone can give me some pointers that would be much appreciated. happy growing.

Everbearers and day neutrals are essentially the same. Day-neutrals tend to do better in the East. I think you have the right idea, the 11 inch space will give you the biggest berries and highest potential yield.

You can plant as many as you want in pots, realizing the more plants the smaller the fruit. Please see the newly updated gardening info from Cornell. Nate Nourse
