Q--
I have two rows of day-neutral strawberries that are in their second year. I noticed that they did not send out hardly any runners this year. Does this mean it is time to till these under and start with new plants in the spring?

A--
I recommend planting day-neutral plants every year for the biggest best berries. The second year plants produce a great crop in spring and fill the gaps in fall. You go to a lot of effort for berries, why have small berries?
